Allegro Pearland Academy of Music Director, Heather Scharbor was presented with the coveted “Bravo Award” by legendary Pearland Mayor Tom Reid at the annual PAAC awards for the extraordinary contributions Allegro Pearland Academy of Music has made to the artistic and cultural atmosphere of Pearland through Allegro’s exceptional private music lesson programs, founding Pearland’s first community youth orchestra, providing Allegro students with the opportunity to prepare for examinations by the Royal Schools of Music Exam Board, ABRSM, and sponsoring the “Storybook Opera” program in Pearland area elementary schools by bringing a soloist from Houston Grand Opera to read and sing a story for the music classes while introducing students to the world of the opera. Allegro was recognized as Pearland’s premier music conservatory providing programs and training leading to college scholarships in music and success in life.
