What to expect from flute lessons at Allegro
Allegro flute instructors guide students through flute assembly and care, forming a correct, string flute embouchure, breathing, reading music, major scales, and more. Each lesson will be crafted to your unique goals and learning style.
Students are given a practice journal to bring to each lesson along with their lesson and theory books, as well as any provided materials such as sheet music to each lesson. You will need to purchase or rent a flute prior to starting lessons.
Music books will be recommended by the instructor at the first lesson and are available at the academy.
We balance musicianship and fun by making sure that at each lesson you are challenged with a new technical or theory concept, but always end with something fun such as your favorite melody or song.
Our faculty is warm and friendly and will work with you to craft a lesson plan that fits your individual needs and favorite type of music.
