Ms. A’Deja earned a Bachelor of Arts in music performance with a concentration in voice from Prairie View A&M University. While attending PVAMU, she’s performed at two Southwestern American Choral Director’s Association Conferences, a concert with world-renowned musician Damien Sneed, PVAMU’s Opera/Musical Theatre Scenes, a MainStage play, competed at two National Opera Association Competitions, and many more.
Ms. A’Deja has been around music her whole life and picked up singing at the age of 2 years old. She grew up singing in church and at school which fueled her desire to pursue a music degree. She also developed a love for acting as well and decided that there was no better way to enjoy them than to combine the two. She believes that with fine arts you can often express different parts of yourself that connect with other people. She has always loved helping others and pushing them towards their goals which is why she likes teaching.
She desires to continue performing as a singer and actress while becoming a Christian/Gospel artist and performing her own music in hopes of building and connecting people worldwide.
