Ms. Alexa is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in music performance and education from the Moores School of Music at the University of Houston where she studies cello with Dr. Eunghee Cho. While at the Moores School of Music, Ms. Alexa has performed with the Moores Symphony Orchestra, the American Festival for the Arts, the Texas Strings Festival, and more! Ms. Alexa has had the opportunity to be a part of the Rocky Ridge Music Festival, the Sewanee Music Festival, the Credo Music Festival, and other music festivals! In addition, she was given the opportunity to perform in the Chicago Symphony Center as well. Ms. Alexa currently has a private cello studio composed of cello students that she teaches on a weekly basis. After completing her degree, Ms. Alexa plans to pursue a career as an educator in the music field. Ms. Alexa looks forward to teaching students and providing them with the same courage and positive reinforcement that she had been given throughout her musical journey as a student!
