Mr. John has been playing drums since he was 15 years old and teaching them for over a decade. He has played the drums in numerous Houston area bands including Prairie Cadets and Purapharm. He is a rock drummer first and foremost but has experience teaching Latin, jazz, and marching band. He believes that music, like any art, is primarily a form of expression. While the fundamentals are important, enjoying and loving what you play is the most important thing.
