What to expect from accordion lessons at Allegro
Allegro accordion instructors teach a variety of styles of music and will craft each lesson to meet your specific goals.
Students are given a practice journal to bring to each lesson along with their lesson and theory books, as well as any provided materials such as sheet music to each lesson. We can also guide you on which type of accordion to start with.
Music books will be recommended by the instructor at the first lesson and are available at the academy.
Accordion students can look forward to working on sight reading, music theory, ear training, and accordion technique. We balance musicianship and fun by making sure that each lesson you are challenged with a new technical or theory concept, but always end with something fun such as your favorite melody or song.
Our faculty is warm and friendly and will work with you to craft a lesson plan that fits your individual needs and favorite type of music.
