What to expect from group guitar lessons at Allegro
Our guitar group class allows students to start their musical journey with an introduction to chords, simple songs and melodies, sight reading, and theory in a small group setting. Students can expect personalized attention and the opportunity to grow their skills while making new friends along the way. Allegro group guitar classes are taught by our highly qualified teaching faculty who balance musicianship and fun by making sure that each lesson presents a new technical challenge or theory concept, and ends with something fun, such as a favorite riff or song.
Students are given a practice journal to bring to each lesson, as well as materials such as sheet music to bring to each lesson. Music books may be recommended by the instructor and are available at the academy. We recommend starting with a quality acoustic guitar in the appropriate size for the student with light gauge strings. Our lesson rooms are equipped with tablets and amps for a cutting-edge guitar lesson experience. Once students reach a certain level of skill they will be recommended to continue their musical journey in private lessons.
