What to expect from group piano lessons at Allegro
Our piano group class allows students to start their musical journey with an introduction to simple songs, sight reading, and theory in a small group setting. Students can expect personalized attention and the opportunity to grow their skills while making new friends along the way. Allegro group piano classes are taught by our highly qualified teaching faculty who balance musicianship and fun by making sure that each lesson presents a new technical challenge or theory concept, and ends with something fun, such as a favorite song.
Students are given a practice journal to bring to each lesson, as well as materials such as sheet music to bring to each lesson. Music books may be recommended by the instructor and are available at the academy. We recommend starting with a quality keyboard with 88 weighted keys and a pedal for practicing at home. Our lesson rooms are equipped with tablets, high-quality keyboards for the piano group class and upright pianos for a cutting-edge piano lesson experience. Once students reach a certain level of skill they will be recommended to continue their musical journey in private lessons.
